“The Bold and the Beautiful” adds Bisexual Character

bb-spoilers232Perhaps the reason “The Bold and the Beautiful” is one of the last soap operas standing is because of the super-sexy cast that seems to always be sleeping with each other. It’s about time that one of them turns out to be bisexual.

The casting call for the part was for a bisexual character who would be named “Christian” and be in the 25 to 28 age range. They were looking for a handsome man with a great sense of style and a sophisticated attitude with a comic side.

The series focuses on the Los Angeles fashion scene and the very powerful Forrester family. They’ve already featured a trans character named Maya, who is played by Karla Mosely. Maya recently married a man, Rick, who was  the first transgender character in a soap opera.

None of the other characters on the show has come out as gay or bisexual, so waiting to see who will be outed as Christian’s love interest will be intriguing.

All of the women are in relationships right now except for Brooke, played by Katherine Kelly Land. Christian could also seduce any of the handsome men, such as Thomas (Pierson Fode), Carter (Lawrence St. Victor) or Oliver (Zack Conroy) whose girlfriend just died.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. on CBS
